The first key is enthusiasm. It all starts with this element." With a healthy list of corporate clients, he has earned the title of "professional pitch man" and “game show guy”

Who is Dan Nichols?

With years of professional experience entertaining as a mobile disc jockey and game show host (for both large and small functions) his talent was quickly recognized as he was asked to take on some projects that opened up entirely new and challenging opportunities. The first of these events was in December 1999 when Daimler Chrysler asked him to present to over 200 executives from all over the world a game show. The Show was aptly titled Jeep-erdy. Being unveiled at this event was the KJ, which is now plated the Liberty. Nichols comments, "if I had to name my strength in the niche freelance game show business, it would have to be my ability to mess with the people/contestants. To push them just enough to get the crowd pleasing reactions I want. This is what makes it fun. Watch the game show guys on TV, the ones that are really good know how to work the contestants.

This is what they do. They work the crowd through the people. It comes natural to me. "Originally Nichols did the game shows for clients that wanted to bring some fun into one of their parties. General trivia, sound clips and of course some humor were all part of the show. Though he still serves at least half the time in this capacity (entertainer for fun) he continues to answer corporate America’s call to use the game show at various meetings and training functions and also to develop entire presentations for companies looking to get a different spin, add some hype or simply contract out various projects. With a diverse background in a variety of fields, Mr. Nichols hasn’t turned down a challenge yet. My occupational education includes; 3 years in the mortgage industry as a loan officer, 1 summer out of college as a customer service rep, 1 year as a telemarketing sales manager and customer service manager for a fortune 100 company, 21 years as an entrepreneur in both the landscaping industry and the mobile entertainment fields, 6 years investing in real estate, a brokers license, and 6 years as a small business consultant/ business teacher and author. Other strengths include computer and technology skills, as well as his ability to talk on a variety of topics. His formal education is a "well rounded" bachelors degree from the University of Michigan. It’s my wide degree of experience that is a huge asset to the companies that hire me to make their event – super.

“A game show sure is something different for a change...”

I recently had an opportunity to work with the "game show guy" and found it to be a great experience. Dan not only made the extra effort to inspect our facility before "game day" but he arrived well in advance the day of to work with the other professionals on staff in setting up for what turned out to be a successful and sizeable event. I'd be happy to work with Dan again - he's a true pro and as events go, a game show sure is something different for a change.

    “He delivers year after year.”

He has a knack for reading the crowd and knowing the difference from one client to the next. We've worked with Dan when planning our own corporate events over the last several years. He continues to be the right guy for the job. We have also used him as a vendor on larger client projects because he understands how to work a crowd and what their (our clients) expectations are. He delivers year after year.
